Cinema Assistant Manager Trainee

Job Descriptions:

  • Follow the direction as instruction by the Theater Operations Department
  • Establish and maintain superior customer service and community relations
  • Support the Cinema Manager’s decisions in communication with the staff
  • Concession ordering and inventory control
  • Staff scheduling
  • Perform daily opening, closing, operational, and administrative duties with comprehensive, detailed approach to safety, building maintenance, repairs, and sanitation/cleanliness
  • Maintain facilities are clean, safe and in proper working order
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate leadership values and provide a hands-on approach to lead staff through day-to-day operations in a positive working environment
  • Associate Degree/Higher Diploma or above
  • 3 years+ management experience
  • Professional and personable; exceptional guest relations skills.
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong computer, detail, organizational skills
  • This position requires weekend, night and holiday shifts 
  • 6 working days a week, 8 working hours

Cinema Management Trainee

Job Descriptions:

  • Perform and Monitor daily cinema operations including manpower arrangement and stock & cost control
  • Lead a team to provide a high standard of services
  • Handle customers’ enquires and complaints in a professional manner
  • Maintain all equipment and fixtures to ensure good working order and condition
  • Manage the cinema general administration tasks / reporting

Requirements:

  • Form 5 or above
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Hands-on PC knowledge (e.g. MS Office Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese Input)
  • A minimum of 1 year solid experience in retail or service industry is an advantage
  • Mature and independent with good leadership, customer-oriented and interpersonal skill

Customer Service Representative – Hotline and Membership Service (Full Time & Part time)

      Job Description:

      To handle all customer service related matters, include -

  • execute and participate at diversified film festivals, movie sharing sessions, preview screenings etc.
  • assist to promote & operate members activities
  • handle library daily operation tasks such as members registration, membership renewal and DVD/Soundtrack borrowing service, merchandise selling and stock check etc.
  • maintenance of the membership database
  • answering enquiries and handling complaints
  • Full time monthly salary HKD11500, 6-days work per week, shift-duty and work on public holidays are required
  • Part time hourly salary HKD42, 3 days/week, 8 hours/day, shift-duty and work on public holidays are required

      Requirements:

  • enjoy to communicate with people, responsible, cheerful, and able to work independently
  • F.5 or above
  • good in written and spoken Chinese and English, Mandarin is preferred but not a must
  • with hotline/frontline experience is an advantage
  • basic computer skills, e.g. Chinese word processing, word, excel, emails

Customer Service Representative – MOViE MOViE Cityplaza Membership Service Counter (Part time)

Job Description:

Handling all customer service-related matters, including:

  • Execution and participation at diverse film festivals, movie sharing sessions, preview screenings, merchandise selling and stock check etc.
  • Assistance in promotion & operation of members’ activities
  • Handling of daily operation of frontline membership counter, such as member registration, renewal, introducing MOViE MOViE cinema happenings & channel highlights etc.
  • Maintaining membership database
  • Answering enquiries and handling complaints via email and telephone
  • Shift-duty and working on public holidays is required
  • Part time hourly salary $42, min. 3 days per week, 8 hrs per day, must include Sundays and public holidays.

Requirements:

  • A love and aptitude for communicating with people, a cheerful disposition, trustworthy, responsible and possessing an ability to work independently
  • F.5 education or above
  • Proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English, Mandarin is preferable but not essential
  • With experience in front line member service / live in Eastern District, Hong Kong / Kwun Tong District / Sai Kung District would be an advantage
  • Basic computer proficiency, e.g. Chinese word processing, word, excel, email
  • Passion for film or culture preferable but not essential
