Synopsis
The Asia Pacific Queer Film Festival Alliance is a new alliance consisting of fourteen Asian queer film festivals. The aim of the alliance is to promote and support queer Asian films, among members of the Asian Pacific region as well as film festivals in the West. Each festival selects a lineup of shorts, which have been shown and created by the other member countries and showcase them in their festival under the title of Asia Pacific Queer Film Festival Alliance Shorts. An award will be given to the best Asia-Pacific short, chosen by the members.

Here is the Asia Pacific Queer Film Festival Alliance selection from their members’ list of films:

1. A Straight Journey: Days and Nights in Their Kingdom
China / 2015 / 23 mins

Two photographers took a journey across 11 cities in China, making portraits of gays and lesbians and their families. A short film was made during the journey, documenting their untold stories for the first time.

2.Naked Boy
South Korea / 2015 / 21 mins

A teacher suffers from hallucinations of seeing one of his students naked in class. In order to solve the issue, he goes to visit the student but does this visit with the student has something to do with the teacher’s past?
