Don't Look at Me That Way (HKLGFF 2016 Opening Film)

Iva is a single mother of five-year-old girl Sophia. One day a new neighbour, Hedi befriends Sophia and develops a strange relationship. Hedi’s sexual beauty is dangerously intoxicating; Iva eventually falls desperately in love with Hedi. The drama heats up when Iva’s father appears and complicates their relationship, as Hedi feels strongly drawn to him. Great performances from the actresses and beautiful camera work make this film a fascinating erotic and sensual cinematic experience. This film wins the Grand Prize at the Taipei Film Festival.
