Synopsis
Hwan-hee, the greatest magician of Joseon, is the treasure Euiju, and the pride of Mulanglu (House of Light and Oblivion) – the largest entertainment theater in Pyongan Province. However, he has been twisted by the years of abuse he suffered at the hands of the Chinese magician Guimol. The only person who understands him is his blood-sister Bo-eum, with whom Hwan-hee escaped from the clutches of Guimol.Meanwhile, Cheong-myeong is traveling to China with bodyguard AHNDong-hwi to marry the 11thprince of the Qing Dynasty. As her party stops at Euiju, she is drawn to Hwan-hee. Hwan-hee, who has no idea that Cheong-myeong is a princess, is drawn to her and his feelings for her slowly changes him.
However, even before their love can blossom, Guimolhones in on Hwan-hee to exact his revenge. The dangers facing Hwan-hee and Cheong-myeong become even darker as the plans of those hoping to steal the tribute to Qing Cheong-myeong is carrying…
