Synopsis
August 8th, 1995, hours before the ceremony for “Big B”, the largest and most advanced helicopter of the Japan Defense Agency, an unseen mastermind remotely activates and hijacks it. Equipped with a huge payload of explosives, the unmanned aircraft takes up a stationary position in the sky above an operational nuclear power plant. A single demand of the hijacker “Hovering Bee” is faxed to the electric company, the media, the police and the prefectural government: “Destroy every nuclear plant within Japan.” There’re only eight hours to rescue the population of Japan, before the helicopter’s fuel runs out. To make matters worse, Big B is carrying a sole passenger: the elementary school-age son of its designer...
