Ridiculously, there is a sexual harassment in a fast food shop induced by an unidentified phone call. A man claiming to be a police officer calls the store manager Sandra and accuses the waitress Becky of stealing a purse. Overwhelmed by her managerial responsibility, Sandra complies with the man to detain Becky and conducts a naked body search on her. The interrogation transforms into a series of humiliation and harassment. Despite the seemingly absurd plots, the movie is inspired by a true event. The English title of the film, Compliance, shows Craig Zobel’s critics of blind obedience.
