Synopsis
“I have never loved another person.” — NJAfter the pandemic subsided and borders reopened, the places we longed for the most became hotspots for revisiting memories. In the film “Yi Yi: A One and a Two”, NJ—now a married man and father—reunites with his first love, Sherry, in Tokyo before travelling together to Atami. Though their burnt-out couple seems poised to reignite, NJ’s heartfelt confession brings the journey to a halt: Does nostalgia bring people back to the past, or get them stuck in the present? What kind of future awaits the duo standing at the crossroads?
