With only a phone call about failing to prepare the deposit for the house, Green moves into her mother's house the same night with her lesbian partner! The dismissal letter left on the desk, two pillows on one bed, a shared kitchen and bathroom––Is a "mother-in-law" vs "daughter-in-law" clash inevitable? Green's widowed and quiet mother can only drive all her energy into her job as a caregiver. Yet, the more she dedicates to the lonely elderly lady in a nursing home, the more she cannot help but worry about herself and Green's future with this lady suffering from poverty and dementia.
Does the concern of the older generation only lead to misunderstandings and unspoken conflicts? This film profoundly explores the journey of same-sex couples and their relationships with the older generation––from discovering differences and societal challenges to seeking balance and mutual acceptance.
