The 12th Animation Support Program Winners Showcase (MOViE MOViE anifest 2025)

Over the years, the Animation Support Program (ASP) has funded many animation productions by Hong Kong creators, nurturing high-quality local animated shorts every year.

Nine award-winning short films from the 12th edition of the ASP will be screened in this year’s showcase, including The James Show, a lighthearted fantasical tribute to late musical genius James Wong; Buzzing Bees, inspired by the creator’s experience studying abroad in France; Kagami, a stop-motion animation about inner restlessness and anxiety; and My First Doll, a whimsical piece adapted from the creator’s childhood anecdotes. These diverse and skillfully crafted films reflect the beautiful creativity and talent of Hong Kong’s animators.
