Endless Cookie (MOViE MOViE anifest 2025)

This imaginatively animated family portrait explores the contrasting upbringings between two half-brothers, one white and one Indigenous, in a humorous oral history. As they reminisce into a microphone, the threads of their stories are punctuated, interrupted, or else hijacked by charismatic extended family members who add to the narrative by indulging in their own reveries. The result is an exploration of identity, race, and Indigenous resistance to colonization; an impressionistic and often surreal depiction of family; and a lived-in documentary of the creative process.
