Synopsis
This biopic tells the story of 19-year-old Maria Schneider, daughter of French actor Daniel Gélin, who made her cinema debut in 1972 in the erotic drama film “Last Tango in Paris”. Her first film, directed by Bernardo Bertolucci and starring Marlon Brando, tells the story of an older American man who meets a young French woman in an apartment in Paris and begins an anonymous sexual relationship with her. Maria rose to fame and established herself as an iconic actress, unprepared for either the fame or the scandal. The traumatising shooting affected her life and career forever. Director
