La Maison (MM LET'S TALK ABOUT SEX)

27-year-old writer Emma, under the pretext of writing a book about sex workers, wishes to truly understand their lives and work. To do so, she gets herself hired at “La Maison”, a Berlin brothel, and becomes one of them. What was meant to be a two week experience, will end up lasting two years. From one room to another, from one man to the next, from transactional sex trade to sexual exploration and enlightenment, Emma discovers a hidden world: its dangers, its incompatibility with romance, and its isolation from the world she had previously known, but also its sorority, grace, and power.
