Synopsis
From the creative supervision of Katsuhiro Otomo (“Steamboy”, “Short Peace”), comes "Memories", a three-part work based on Otomo’s three original stories.

"Magnetic Rose" set in outer space at the end of the 21st century, the 1st part tells the story of two engineers who encounter the apparition of a female opera singer in an abandoned space freighter...
The 2nd story “Stink Bomb” is a satirical tale of a young lab technician who accidentally swallows experimental pills...
The 3rd part "Cannon Fodder" depicts war-time life in a steampunk world, using a characteristic camerawork.

Since its silver screen debut in 1995, the film never ceases to influence modern pop culture and acts as a prominent catalyst prompting reflection upon society, life, history, and politics.
