Science-fiction and children’s film is not the most obvious combination, yet French animators take space pioneering to the next level in this amusing adventure. After being separated from his parents and crashing landing on an unknown planet, Willy must survive in the wilderness with the help of his survival robot, Buck. What seems a light-hearted journey is in fact a story of self-reliance, empathy and teamwork, perfect for younger viewers.
