Synopsis
The New Oriental School in Beijing was the scene of a brutal rape and murder case in 2016. The perpetrator was subsequently apprehended and sentenced to life in prison, but has since appealed his sentence. The victim’s mother travelled all the way to Beijing in search of justice, only to be turned away from the school by officials, who also claimed that her daughter’s belongings at the school had long been lost.
