Three-year-old Keong has long planned for his moon landing project, but it almost results in the accidental death of Chan Lek, a penniless and miserable betting agent. Carman is having an affair with her teacher, and worries about losing everything. Frankie, the guy Carman routinely brushes off, surprisingly becomes her guardian angel. Kevin is a devoted family man expecting his first child with his wife, but he unexpectedly meets Mimi, a seductive prostitute who moved to Macau to earn her living. In this small city full of greed and rage and love and desire, everyone has good days and bad days. Extraordinary moments and serendipitous chance arrive as suddenly as a passing rain.
