Synopsis
The cradle of the modern world, letterpress printing, is now an endangered craft. Why, and how has it survived in an era of digitals? PRESSING ON: THE LETTERPRESS FILM is a fascinating and surprisingly moving documentary funded by Kickstarter that follows a group of young printers and letterpress veterans, striving to preserve the myriad of personalities behind blocks of wood, metal, and type - a poetic reflection on the rapid digitalization of today.
