Synopsis
A Buddhist temple floating in the middle of a lake is the breathtaking setting for a parable about the cycle of human life and its connection to the natural environment. An ageing Buddhist monk bestows his wisdom upon a receptive young boy, but as time passes, the pupil is led astray by his carnal desires.
