Synopsis

Tale of the Lost Boys is a story of the friendship between two men, Alex, a straight man who escapes to Taipei from Manila, leaving his pregnant girlfriend behind, in hopes of confronting his estranged mother, and Jerry, a Taiwanese aboriginal gay student, who is afraid that his traditional parents would not accept him for being gay. Together, they form a serendipitous friendship that is going to change their lives forever. Through a journey to Yilan, they form new perspectives to their identities and begin to look into the wounds from each of their own pasts.
