Synopsis
‘Every Tuesday at approximately 6.30pm, the Queen of the United Kingdom has a private audience with her Prime Minister. The meeting takes place in the private Audience Room located on the first floor of Buckingham Palace.’From Churchill to Cameron, each of the 12 Prime Ministers used these private royal audiences both as sounding board and confessional. For 60 years, there was an unspoken agreement never to repeat what was said.
Until now.
The Audience imagines pivotal meetings between successive Downing Street residents and their Queen.
