Synopsis

Generation gap always exists. Adults ask teenagers to go to university and then look for a stable job while teenagers reject to follow with the mainstream blindly. The youth would like to know who they are and what they want. The X-generation concerns about material while the Y-generation and Z-generation concerns about spirituality. Such differences and misunderstandings create conflicts. In nowadays chaotic period, instead of judging each other, can we just listen to each other? The Golden-Horse-Awards-winner, Director King Wai CHEUNG (director of KJ: Music and Life), depicts nowadays teenagers in Hong Kong which mirrors the current and betoken the future of Hong Kong. With the music of the Concert of Ten Thousand, the camera captures the daily moments of the youth intimately. Nine music-lovers open their hearts to talk about their sweet and bitter moments. The Taste of Youth is a letter to the youth, to the one who was once young and to the one who cares about the youth.
