In 1997, the young artist Zhuzi and his fiancée lived in Hangzhou, the city known as ‘Heaven on Earth’. The film begins at the onset of the rainy season. As his wedding day approaches, Zhuzi becomes concerned about his health. As he repeatedly seeks medical help, he shares three encounters with three different women: a rendezvous, a chance meeting, and a reunion.
