Synopsis

The Yo-kai Watch has disappeared! Desperate to get it back, the friends follow a trail that leads them somewhere they never expected: the past!

One seemingly normal night when Keita is fast asleep in bed, the Yo-kai Watch suddenly disappears from his wrist in a flash of light!
And as if that wasn’t strange enough, a giant cat Yo-kai called Dekanyan appears in Sakura New Town, and asks Keita to help him save his friends…because if he doesn’t, “they” will take over the world! In search of clues about just what this mysterious turn of events might mean, Keita sets off to Kemamoto village, where his grandma lives.

Once there, he has a chance meeting with Fuyunyan, who turns out to know the secret of why the Yo-kai Watch has disappeared.
It’s time for Keita, Whisper, Jibanyan and Fuyunyan to travel 60 years back in time to rescue their treasured timepiece!

But just who is the fearsome foe who awaits them there?
And what exactly has become of the watch...?
