Synopsis

Amélie is a little Belgian girl born in Japan. Thanks to her friend and housekeeper Nishio-san, life is filled with adventures and discoveries. But on her third birthday, a miraculous encounter with chocolate changes everything as she begins to see everything in her world in brand-new ways. Based on an autobiographical novel by Amélie Nothomb.
