Synopsis

Writer Christine Angot has been invited for professional reasons to Strasbourg, where her father lived until he died in 1999. It’s the town where she first met him at the age of thirteen, and where he began raping her. His wife and children still live there. With astonishing courage, a camera, and dear friends, Angot takes a camera and knocks on the family’s door to confront them. How a family affected by incest can speak out is the subject of Christine Angot’s autobiographical documentary.
