Synopsis

Revenge is a dish best served cold. In this new adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' famous novel, young Edmond Dantès is victim of a conspiracy and arrested on his wedding day for a crime he did not commit. After fourteen years in the Château d'If, he manages to escape. Having become immensely wealthy by seizing a treasure, he returns as the Count of Monte Cristo to take revenge on the three men who betrayed him out of jealousy.
