    Synopsis
Living with his mother, stepfather and stepsister in a provincial town, Tsuguo is a teenage boy who enjoys soccer and videogames, and going through puberty with puppy love troubles. He must take a leap of growth when his stepfather announces a shocking news - he decides to move out with his gay lover. Mipo O’s directorial debut approaches family life with delicate sensitivity through the eyes of a 14-year-old boy. The low-key drama combines coming-of-age crises and family breakdowns, bringing together a humorous and bittersweet portrayal of any ordinary Japanese family.
