Synopsis

High school student Yaguchi studies well and is fairly popular among his peers, but that does not take away his sense of emptiness deep down. One day, he encounters a senior schoolmate, Mori, whose oil painting inspires him to discover his passion in painting and decides to take up a career in art against all odds. A live-action film adapted from the award- winning manga of the same title by Tsubasa Yamaguchi, Blue Period encapsulates the power of art that heals our emotions and awakens our souls.
