Synopsis

Three failed K-pop idols travel to Jeju in hopes of experiencing the school trip they never had. However, the listless trio must confront more troubles and fallouts on this soul-searching journey: lost luggage, cash shortage and the shadow of their struggling idol days. Namkoong Sun’s sophomore feature won the grand prize at the 2024 Jeonju International Film Festival with its sensitive depiction of how the idol system affects the emotional, physical and social well-being of the powerless young people in the harsh fray. Beyond the catchy pop music lies the trauma of abridged youth, exhausted disillusion and grave loss.
