Synopsis

In near-future Tokyo, a seemingly harmless prank on the principal leads to the installation of an oppressive surveillancesystem in the school. While the incident awakens high schoolerKou’s political consciousness, his best friend Yuta remains oblivious to the changes around him. Soon, their rift becomes too big to ignore. After directing the transcendent Ryuichi Sakamoto: Opus, Neo Sora makes his dramatic feature directorial debut with this socially relevant and melancholic cautionary tale about adolescent bonds and if they can survive the volatility of a tumultuous political and social landscape.
