In a desperate attempt, Suellen, a hardworking toll booth attendant, enrolls her son in a harmful conversion therapy program and to pay for it, she reluctantly gets drawn into a criminal scheme. Using her booth as cover, she aids a group of cunning thieves in stealing valuable watches, all while grappling with her own guilt and the threat of exposure. As Suellen is pushed further down a dangerous path, she must confront the complex realities of motherhood, societal prejudices, and the precarious balance between protecting her child and preserving her moral compass. This gritty Brazilian drama explores the bonds of family and the moral quandaries faced by those on the margins of society.
