Estranged brothers Nate and Ged must set aside their bitter feud to fulfil their mother’s dying wish—scattering her ashes at the family home in Narrabri. Forced to make the cross-country trip in a hearse, the brothers are haunted by their troubled past and Ged’s self-destructive behaviour. As a series of unfortunate events threatens to derail their journey, Nate realises the only way to honour their mother is to confront the ghosts that have driven them apart. In facing the painful truths of their shared history, the brothers may finally have a chance at reconciliation and healing.
