In this Hawaiian BL (Boys’ Love) story, hunky Native Hawaiian jock Pili and aspiring Filipino student Edmar, from rival high school groups, are reluctantly paired for a semester project. As they overcome cultural divides, an intense friendship blossoms, soon evolving into uncontrollable desires. Showcasing the unique charms of the Aloha islands, MY PARTNER tenderly explores the challenges these young men face in accepting their newfound connection, both within themselves and their social circles. Notably, actor Kaipo Dudoit, who portrays the alluring Pili, will also be featured in Disney’s live-action adaptation of LILO AND STITCH. Through its heartwarming narrative, the film beautifully captures the sweetness of young love amidst the vibrant backdrop of Hawaii.
