Synopsis

Allihopa, the Swedish word for "alltogether," follows Dalkurd, the Kurdish Swedish soccer team originally founded by Kurdish refugees in Sweden as a social project, as they try to make European soccer history. The film explores the personal journeys of these remarkable refugees, as well as the bigger issues of historically persistent racism and xenophobia against a proud people who have been searching for independence and a homeland for over a hundred years.
