Synopsis

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of one of the most celebrated musicals produced by the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA was recorded live at Royal Albert Hall for this screening version.

Deformed since birth, a bitter man known only as the Phantom lives in the sewers underneath the Paris Opera House. Falling in love with a young protégée Christine, the Phantom privately tutors her while terrorizing the opera house and demanding Christine be given lead roles. Things get worse when Christine meets back up with her childhood acquaintance Raoul and the two fall in love. The Phantom is outraged by their love and kidnaps Christine to be his eternal bride. Raoul is now the only one who can stop him......
