Ex-convict Sweet Potato has been desperately trying to go straight. However, his criminal past always finds its way to catch up on him—his old gang boss, whom he has never met, his mother, who thrusts all her debts upon him, and his buddy, who makes nothing but troubles. One after the other, they regain control over his present life leaving him no hope for a new future. Fresh-faced Taiwanese actor-turned- filmmaker Lee Hong-chi’s directorial debut won the hearts of international critics with this genuine and poetic drama.
