Synopsis

Kanae runs a bathhouse with her husband Sekiguchi. The couple appears to have a blissful marriage until one day Sekiguchi vanishes into thin air. Plagued by worries and self-doubts, Kanae hires a private detective to find his whereabouts, only turns out to be overwhelmed by the result of the investigation—the secret life of her significant other. Meanwhile, everything else in her life seems to be stirred by an undercurrent from the past: a recurring nightmare, a mysterious new employee, and another missing person in the neighbourhood.
