Returning to direct his second feature film after his hit TV series In Geek We Trust, director Lawrence Kan tells a searing fact-based story of abuse and delayed justice. When investigative journalist Kay is tipped off about abuse in a care home for the elderly and disabled, she goes undercover and discovers that the rot spreads far wider than she imagined. A stunning and provocative drama exposing what happens when the systems we trust fail us, this is an especially important film in an era when journalists are smeared as troublemakers.
