In Between Two Ears, Kwong is ready to commit suicide, until his attention is called to a TV commercial of a sex hotline. Sugar, who, initially flirtatious, becomes alarmed at the weeping suicidal voice on the other end. Please Hold On depicts how Dawn navigates difficultly through her troubled past and continues to dial the same number that always fails to connect. In Scorpion Grass, Rosario, a migrant from the Philippine, meets Yan Yan in a performance by an invisible theatre troupe and Yan Yan invites Rosario to join their group. During the workshops, Rosario recalls past moments with Lila, her ex-lover back in the Philippines. Today’s Special is Tiger YAU@MIRROR’s first drama short. It is about a driver who has ties with criminals but this night’s mission is made special when a young woman is seemingly in grave danger.
