Synopsis

A young boy called Tori and an adolescent girl called Lokita have travelled alone from Africa to Belgium, and all they have is each other. When Lokita is denied refugee status, the two are forced to strive for survival in the criminal underworld. Two-time Palme d’Or winners the Dardenne brothers’ new film is a tale of a beautiful and invincible friendship, as well as a furious social commentary on injustice.
