Synopsis
A scholar who claims to be Plato’s apostle has difficulty facing death. Together with his wife and his ex-partner’s family, he recruits 12 young men into his secluded manor for a project that purports to explore the theme of death. The group starts with heated philosophical discussions, but they begin to explore increasingly extreme practices: from climbing the volcanic summit of Mt. Fuji, to sex acts and BDSM, and even live sacrifice. Their experiences are captured on film, and leave all of them with life changing revelations. Director
