Synopsis
Yoon-young is an aspiring poet who has feelings for Song-hyun, a friend’s ex-wife. One day, Yoon-young and Song-hyun travel to the port city of Gunsan, the birthplace of Song-hyun’s mother. While exploring the town, Yoon-young and Song-hyun also get to know the B&B’s manager and his autistic daughter. Named after the poem by Luo Binwang, the latest film by Korean-Chinese filmmaker Zhang Lu (Love And…, HKAFF 11th) is another dreamlike journey into the psyche of romance-deprived artists as well as a lyrical examination of the deep connection between place, time and memories.
