Synopsis
The opening film of this year’s Festival is German director Marco KREUZPAINTNER’s The Collini Case. Suspect Fabrizio COLLINI surrenders but remains silent. Young lawyer Caspar LEINEN takes over the case and defends COLLINI. Faced with the recalcitrant COLLINI, LEINEN decides to pursue justice and sets out to investigate the case, only to unveil a painful history. The film is screened with a brand new short film, Farewell by WONG Fei who is the previous winner of Fresh Wave Award.
