Synopsis

Three interconnected tales about women living in very different eras. Eight-year-old Meigo discovers the bitter taste of first love when she accidentally witnesses her sister kissing their band’s tomboy accordionist, Diego. In another vignette, aging Lily develops an unexpected bond with her gay friend Yen, and they find themselves supporting each other. Finally, we see Diego as a young woman, struggling with her gender identity in the years before she joined the band.
