Synopsis

The 18-year-old Andrej is sent to a youth detention centre due to his problematic behaviour. Overseen by an ineffective regime, the institution is more or less ruled by Žele, the informal leader of the detainees. Upon discovering Andrej’s secret, Žele soon begins to take advantage of him; Andrej’s sense of responsibility and moral integrity are put to the test. Ultimately, he must choose between following Žele and his reckless lifestyle, and staying true to his good self. Billed as Slovenia's first domestically made LGBT-themed fictional feature, Darko Štante 's directorial debut offers bold coming-of-age drama where young men have to come out fighting for their rights.
