Synopsis

The highest-grossing domestic film in the history of the Czech Republic, Martin Horský's family comedy revolves around a band of first-time long-distance runners led by Věra, who's determined to fulfil his ailing husband's last wish of running a marathon. She and her daughters would split up the route into four parts to overcome the 42-kilometre-plus challenge as a family relay team. Three months before the race, their trainer Vojta has prepared a great fitness plan – but the daughters aren't rushing to start running. Faced with their wildly different personal problems, they would soon realise how life's like a marathon: by sticking to the course, the finish is always within reach.
