In the wake of the landmark U.S. Supreme Court case legalising marriage equality, the Right has launched an effective, new, state-by-state campaign to limit the rights of America's LGBTQ citizens across the country. Their backlash has been swift, severe, and successful. This documentary takes us on a journey of under-standing what connects us all and gives us the courage to embrace each other. Interviews with families on how they dealt with their children’s coming out and how their church and faith encouraged them to send their loved ones to conversion therapy with real hearbroken tragic outcomes. A compelling thoughtful documentary not to be missed.
