The festival opens with The Shiny Shrimps, (‘Les Crevettes Pailletées’), the uproarious story of a gay water polo team and its homophobic coach. World Swimming Championship silver medallist Matthias Le Goff — nicknamed by the team as 'the world champion of homophobia’ — lets rip his hatred live on TV. As punishment, he is assigned to coach the Parisian gay water polo team as they train hard but party harder ahead of the world’s biggest Gay Games in Croatia.
