Piranhas(Cineitaliano 2019)

Naples. Nicola and his friends, all 15 years old, waste no time in making money to buy designer clothes and brand new scooters. They play with weapons and ride around the city to take power in the district of Sanit. They love each other like family, they don’t fear prison nor death, knowing their only chance is to risk everything, now. Based on a novel by Roberto Saviano (author of Gomorrah), who co-wrote the script, Claudio Giovannesi’s (Fiore, Cine Italiano! 2016) latest film powerfully depicts the impossibility of experiencing the more important feelings of adolescence, love and friendship, in a life of crime.
