Follow three women navigating their way and asserting their place in the traditionally male-dominated world of sake production. Miho Imada is a female sake toji (brewmaster), whose sake has won multiple awards both in and outside of Japan. Marie Chiba is a pioneering sake sommelier, who tirelessly finds new and unexpected ways to pair sake and food. Born in New Zealand, Rebekah Wilson-Lye first discovered her love of sake while teaching English in Japan, and over the years, has become an expert in the trade. She played a major role in the collaboration between legendary artist Takashi Murakami and five sake breweries.
